Summary
Learning Support Assistant - One to One Support
A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Uxbridge is looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to support pupils with additional needs. This one to one role will involve close support for a child with complex needs, as well as occasional small group interventions across the school.
We are looking for someone who
Is warm, calm and compassionate, with a positive and proactive mindset
Has experience supporting children in EYFS, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2
Is confident supporting pupils who have communication challenges, including non-verbal children
Understands how to follow EHCP targets and work closely with external professionals
Can think on their feet and adapt to changing needs within the day
Cares deeply about helping children develop socially, emotionally and academically
Forms strong relationships and understands how to support behaviour in a nurturing way
