Summary
Job Title: Delivery driver required IMMEDIATELY, £24,533.60: 4 nights per week, minimum 40 hours flexibility required - CHELTENHAM
Are you reliable, motivated and customer focused? Our client is looking for a delivery driver to join their team based at the Cheltenham Depot. This is a hands-on, active role, perfect for someone who enjoys working independently, meeting deadlines, and providing excellent customer service. With early starts and night shifts, you'll become the familiar face delivering fresh, high-quality products to their valued customers.
This role is physically demanding, involving intensive drops, loading and unloading, and operating as a Multi Drop Driver. You'll also use hand held electronic devices to manage orders, invoices and stock, making sure every customer gets exactly what they ordered on time, every time.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver products to customers accurately and efficiently
- Undertake multi drop delivery rounds during night shifts and early mornings
- Load and unload vehicles, securing loads for safe travel
- Operate hand held electronic devices to record deliveries, payments and order changes
- Collect empties and handle payments securely where required
- Maintain strong customer relationships
- Follow all company procedures regarding food hygiene, health & safety and compliance
Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Comfortable with early starts, night shifts and working outdoors in all weather
- Physically fit to manage a high number of drops and manual handling tasks
- Positive, self-motivated and customer-focused with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
