Summary
Temporary School Cleaner (Afternoon Shift)
Location: Newquay
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 3:30pm – 6:00pm (Paid 4 hours)
Contract Type: Temporary – 2 weeks
Start Date: Immediate
Pay: 4 hours per day (paid), despite 2.5 hours worked
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented School Cleaner to support our cleaning team for a short-term, two-week assignment. This role is critical in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our pupils, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Cleaning classrooms, corridors, toilets, and other school areas
• Emptying bins, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitising surfaces
• Following health and safety guidelines and school procedures
• Reporting any issues or required maintenance
Candidate Requirements:
• Enhanced DBS check with child workforce clearance is essential
• Previous professional cleaning experience is desirable
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
