Hays are working with an Oldham school who are seeking a dynamic and highly organised Head of Department (Non-Teaching) to lead and manage one of our key operational or support departments. This is a pivotal role for someone who thrives in a busy school environment and is passionate about enabling excellence behind the scenes.
About the RoleAs Head of Department (Non-Teaching), you will:
- Lead a team of support staff within a designated department (e.g., Administration, IT, Facilities, Data, or Finance).
- Ensure the department runs efficiently and aligns with the school's strategic goals.
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership, teaching staff, and external partners.
- Manage budgets, resources, and compliance within your area.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation in service delivery.
