This full-time, long-term role offers the chance to combine traditional TA responsibilities with classroom cover duties, making it an ideal stepping stone for graduates with experience or recently qualified teachers planning to start their ECT years from 2026.
Key Details: Level 3 Teaching Assistant
• Full-time role: Monday to Friday, term-time only
• Weekly pay up to £560
• Start date: October 2025
• Based at a supportive and inclusive primary school near Formby, Sefton
• Mix of Teaching Assistant responsibilities and classroom cover when the teacher is absent
• Work across different age groups within the primary phase
• Immediate interviews available
Candidate Requirements: Level 3 Teaching Assistant
• A Level 3 TA qualification OR a degree with school-based experience
• Alternatively, recently qualified teachers are encouraged to apply
• Strong communication skills, adaptability, and confidence in leading a class
• A genuine interest in education and supporting children’s progress
• Previous experience in a primary school setting desirable
