Summary
St Paul’s Family Centre seeks
Nursery Support Worker - Sessional
To cover training/sickness/leave for staff in the Nursery/Crèche/Parent and Toddler Group.
Qualification in Childcare Level 3/ working towards level 3 or above with experience of working with children and families.
National Minimum wage rates apply

DIMENSIONS OF JOB:
Working with other members of staff as part of a team, caring for and delivering activities for pre-school/primary school children and parents at the centre. Covering staff absences as and when required.
WORKING RELATIONS:
Internal: Centre Manager, Nursery Manager, staff and volunteers, staff of statutory and voluntary agencies, children and parents/carers. Answerable to Centre Manager and the Nursery Manager.
KEY TASKS:
· To support activities for pre-school/primary school children.
· To support activities for parents
· To ensure that the sessions meet health and safety requirements
· To adhere to centres policies
· To contribute to the overall ethos of the centre
· To contribute to reports and evaluations of sessions.
· To contribute and develop the centres equal opportunity policy
· To undergo training
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Flexible working approach, some weekend and/or evening work (when necessary)
