Summary

We are looking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager / Sales Executive to oversee and manage the sales operations of our meat products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, establishing relationships with key customers, and ensuring that our meat products are effectively marketed and distributed.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share and sales revenue for meat products.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and growth areas within the meat industry, including retail, wholesale, and foodservice sectors.
• Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify new product opportunities and pricing strategies.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, including retailers, food distributors, wholesalers, and restaurants.
• Provide coaching and training on sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer engagement strategies.
• Conduct market research to stay updated on consumer preferences, emerging trends, and competitor activities in the meat industry.
• Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports for senior management.
• Analyze sales data to identify trends, strengths, and areas for improvement.
• Work with the pricing team to develop competitive pricing strategies that maximize profitability without sacrificing product quality.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to ensure profitability and long-term partnerships.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of meat products, including cuts, sourcing, processing, and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, including food safety and health standards, as well as company policies and guidelines.

Qualifications:
• Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the meat or food.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing a sales team.
• Strong understanding of the meat industry, including supply chains, production processes, and customer requirements.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Travel required to meet clients, attend industry events, and visit production facilities.
