Summary
Undertake the full range of general, specialist, elective and emergency duties of a consultant congenital cardiac surgeon Perform the full range of congenital cardiac surgical lists, and additional supportive surgical procedures (e.g. ECMO) Perform congenital surgical 1:4 on-call duties as required. Support all cardiac surgical care required on PICU and CICU. Support the development of excellent congenital cardiac services across the Oxford-Southampton Network Perform duties in line with agreed job plan and support the education of junior staff We are looking to appoint a well-motivated Congenital Cardiac Surgeon who is fully trained and experienced in congenital cardiac surgery. Applicants will be expected to demonstrate their competence to communicate in spoken and written English. You must be fully registered with the GMC, hold a Licence to Practice and preferably be on the Specialist Register.
