Summary
Class 2 Truck-Mounted IPAF Operator – Scotland
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Start Date: Immediate
We are looking for a qualified and dependable IPAF Operator with a Class 2 (Category C) HGV License to operate truck-mounted access platforms across various sites throughout the UK, predominantly Scotland. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a strong safety mindset and experience in powered access operations.
Our Scottish yard is located in the Dalkeith area, so we're ideally looking for someone based within a reasonable commuting distance.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate truck-mounted MEWPs (Mobile Elevated Work Platforms) in accordance with IPAF standards.
Carry out pre-use inspections and routine maintenance checks.
Support site teams with access setup and safe working practices.
Maintain accurate records of vehicle and equipment usage.
Requirements:
Valid IPAF licence (1b).
Full UK Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
Proven experience operating truck-mounted platforms.
Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
Flexibility to work across multiple sites and shifts.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work weekend overtime as/when available
