We aim to establish a part-time role to support the service in-line with how other trauma unit across the London region submit trauma data. This will allow our already busy Emergency Service Clerks to focus on patient bookings and other daily-tasks without being stretched thin. It will also reduce the need to spend for additional support with trauma network data submission via NHSP. This position is established to ensure that the ongoing trauma network services are delivered punctually, while also offering administrative assistance to our trauma doctors and nurses. The primary responsibilities of the new position will include:
- Ensure all information is accurately entered into the National Trauma database (NMTR), maintaining completeness and high quality.
- Participate in the Trauma Network meeting alongside the responsible consultant and Band 6 Admin Manager.
- Coordinate additional responsibilities and assist with assault data submissions ( ISTV)
- Help with management of alpha patients and ensure proper submission through Oracle Millennium.
- Provide support to Team Leader with GP inquiries and assist in managing the inbox.
Proposed Interview Date - 10th October 2025
