Summary


Audiologist/Clinical Scientist
Location:Windsor (with travel across sites)
Hours:08:00–16:00 Monday to Friday

We are seeking an experiencedBand 7 Audiologist/Clinical Scientistto join our friendly and skilled team of healthcare scientists. Based in Windsor, you will also work across sites in East Berkshire, giving you the chance to develop your skills in a variety of settings.

This is a rewarding and varied role where you will see complex adult and paediatric patients for assessment and rehabilitation, as well as providing audiology support to our ENT colleagues.

• We are looking for an enthusiastic, senior Healthcare Science practitioner who is a clinical scientist or is AHCS registered with BSc/MSc in Audiology or in Medical Physics, Physiological Measurements and BAAT I and II with relevant, post-qualification clinical experience.
• We are looking for a staff member who is qualified to deliver and experienced in performing vestibular assessments, paediatric assessment and rehabilitation, but who will also see adult patients as part of their duties
• The post is ideally suited to an STP trainee graduate or someone with relevant HTS modules due to the complex and varied nature of the workload.
• You will communicate calmly, compassionately and effectively reassuring service users so they feel, valued, heard and understood.

The “must haves” for this role:
1. BSc/MSc in Audiology or Medical Physics/Physiological Measurements and BAAT I and II, and HCPC/AHCS registration (or ready to register)
2. Demonstrable post-qualification experience of working with complex patients
3. Experience with diagnostic vestibular assessments
4. Excellent communication skills
