As a Regional Aquatics Manager in our Shropshire Leisure team, you’ll drive the growth, quality, and success of swimming lessons and aquatic programmes across multiple sites.

Your work will make a real difference by helping people build confidence in the water, while supporting local communities and developing a team that delivers excellence.


You’ll be entrusted to:
· Deliver the Serco Leisure National Aquatics Strategy within your region.
· Manage and grow swimming lesson and aquatics programmes, ensuring quality, retention, and sustainable growth through a data-driven approach.
· Lead, mentor, and develop Swimming Coordinators, driving performance and building future talent.
· Oversee school swimming programmes, ensuring delivery that meets community needs.
· Support the mobilisation of new sites, ensuring consistent product standards.
· Monitor programme performance using reports and KPIs, implementing improvements where needed.
· Work with Marketing and Digital teams to promote aquatics programmes and strengthen customer engagement.
· Ensure compliance with safeguarding, qualifications, training standards, and health and safety requirements.


Does this sound like you?
You’ll be a great fit for this role if you have…
· Experience of working in a busy leisure environment across multiple sites.
· A proven track record of growing and improving swimming lesson programmes.
· Experience of leading teams through change, mentoring staff, and driving performance.
· STA or Swim England Level 2 Certificate in Teaching Swimming (essential).
· Award in Education and Training Level 3 (essential – or willing to achieve).
· Safeguarding CPD (essential).
· A full driving licence and willingness to travel across the region.
