Summary
Job Title: HGV Technician
Pay: £23.11 per hour
Shift: Monday to Friday – Nights (18:00 – 06:30)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join a busy workshop in Corby. This role offers excellent rates of pay and the stability of a regular Monday–Friday night shift pattern.
Key Responsibilities
Service, maintain, and repair HGVs to a high standard
Diagnose and resolve faults using modern diagnostic equipment
Complete inspection sheets and job cards accurately
Prepare vehicles for MOT and ensure compliance with safety standards
Work efficiently to meet deadlines while maintaining quality workmanship
Requirements
✅ NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent experience)
✅ Previous HGV repair/maintenance experience
✅ Full driving licence (LGV licence desirable)
✅ Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
✅ Ability to work independently and within a team
