Summary
Service Manager
Location: Ipswich
Salary: £33,000 basic plud bonus OTE 40k plus
Hours: Monday to Friday 8am - 5:30pm, alternate Saturday mornings on rota

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Service Manager to take full responsibility for our service department. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and reputable dealership in Ipswich, leading a skilled team and ensuring the highest levels of customer service and operational efficiency. This role is perfect for a proven Service Manager or an experienced Service Supervisor looking to step up into management.

Role Overview – Service Manager
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the service department
- Drive performance through effective leadership, coaching, and development of the service team
- Ensure the highest standards of customer satisfaction by resolving queries efficiently and professionally
- Monitor departmental KPIs and implement strategies for continuous improvement
- Collaborate with senior management and other departments to ensure seamless business operations
- Maintain compliance with health & safety legislation and company policies
Requirements – Service Manager
- Previous experience as a Service Manager or in a similar senior service role within the automotive industry
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- A customer-first mindset with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in service management systems and reporting tools
- Full UK driving licence
