Are you a passionate educator with a drive to inspire the next generation of Health & Social Care and Child Development professionals? Long Term Futures are recruiting on behalf of a large secondary academy in Nottingham, seeking a skilled teacher to join their team from January 2026 until December 2026 to cover maternity leave.
This role will involve teaching across two sites (just a short walk or quick drive apart), giving you the opportunity to work with a diverse group of learners and contribute to a thriving department.
The Role:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Health & Social Care and Child Development across KS4 and KS5
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment where all students can achieve
- Assess, track and support progress, ensuring students are well prepared for exams and future pathways
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and maintain high standards of teaching and learning
What We're Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
- Experience teaching KS4 and KS5 Health & Social Care / Child Development
- Strong subject knowledge and ability to inspire learners of all abilities
- A commitment to raising aspirations and delivering excellent outcomes for young people
