About The Role

Bath & North East Somerset Council is looking for a ‘Estates Technician’. Principal duties will be varied and include the following:

Preparation, calculation and arranging invoicing of planned maintenance recoveries.
Co-ordinate and prepare service charge accounts, and invoice
Working with the Council’s Commercial Debt Recovery Officer to management any service charge and planned maintenance arrears and liaising with tenants as necessary.
Checking and paying utility invoices.
Assisting the Estates Surveyors with the management of specific properties, which may include assistance with rent reviews, lease renewals and new lettings.
Managing the dilapidations program and monitoring the time in which the tenant must carry out works, liaising with the Estates Surveyor and the building surveyor as to when follow up inspections are required.
