Job Summary:
We are seeking independence, dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team as a contractor. Our cleaning company is base in North Yorkshire, Harrogate; we also cover York and West Yorkshire including Leeds and Bradford. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments, ensuring that all areas are spotless and presentable. This position requires strong communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Perform cleaning duties in assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces.
- Dust, mop, vacuum, and sanitise surfaces to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
- Dispose of waste and ensure proper recycling practices are followed.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in good working order.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to address any specific cleaning requests or concerns.
- Drive to various locations as required for cleaning assignments.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication skills in English to interact with clients and team members effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A valid driving licence is advantageous for transportation between sites.
