Summary
Neway International are seeking a Senior Practitioner to join the Children’s Social Care Team based with Birmingham Children's Trust.
Location: One Avenue, Birmingham
Hours: 36.5 per week | 08:45–17:15
Contract: 5th October 3-6 months
Rate: £24.52 PAYE / £33.30 Umbrella

About the Role
As a Senior Practitioner, you’ll bring at least 4 years’ post-qualified experience in children’s social care, supporting complex cases and mentoring less experienced colleagues. You’ll play a key role in safeguarding, care planning, and multi-agency collaboration, ensuring children’s voices are central to every decision.

Minimum 4 years’ qualified experience in children’s social care
Proven ability to manage complex caseloads and risk
Strong communication, assessment, and report-writing skills
Confident working within statutory frameworks and multi-agency settings
Commitment to child-centred practice and continuous improvement
