Providing support and/or care to adults with learning disabilities and/or autism living in Birmingham. Support involves helping clients with accommodation, housing issues, benefits, handling money and budgetting, banking, shopping, accessing local services, participating in the community, accessing training, education, volunteering or paid work, health & safety in the home, health services and concerns, making and maintaining relationships, living safely in the community and moving towards more independent living. Care involves all the above plus assistance with personal care needs. The jobs are based in Ladywood but require travel to all parts of the City to visit clients and/or support them to appointments, meetings, interviews or activities.
