Summary
About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Motor Vehicle Technician / Class 4 MOT Tester to join our busy workshop on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will have at least 5 years’ motor trade experience, hold a current Class 4 MOT licence, and be capable of carrying out everything from routine servicing and diagnostics to engine repair work.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out Class 4 MOT tests in line with DVSA requirements.
Service, repair, and maintain a variety of vehicles.
Diagnose and repair engine faults and major mechanical issues.
Complete all jobs accurately, efficiently, and to high standards.
Maintain workshop cleanliness and safety standards.
Deliver excellent customer service and work well within a team.
Requirements
Current DVSA-approved Class 4 MOT Tester licence.
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Motor Vehicle Repair.
Minimum 5 years’ proven experience in the motor trade.
Strong diagnostic skills, including engine work and fault finding.
Full UK driving licence.
Reliable, professional, and self-motivated.
