Summary

Qualifications and Training

• GCSEs in English and Maths to C standard or equivalent
• Qualification or experience linked to IT


• Educated to A-level standard or equivalent (Desirable)
• Evidence of professional development relevant to digital leadership or website management (Desirable)


Experience and Knowledge

• Experience managing websites and/or digital content including troubleshooting
• Knowledge and experience of IT systems including hardware and software.
• Experience providing digital publicity
• Experience troubleshooting IT technical issues


• Experience managing websites and digital content, including troubleshooting, in a school or similar environment (Desirable)
• Knowledge and experience of IT systems including hardware and software in a school or similar environment. (Desirable)
• Strong understanding of digital publicity. (Desirable)
• Experience providing digital publicity for an organisation. (Desirable)


• Experience troubleshooting IT technical issues in a school or similar environment. (Desirable)
• The ability to resolve technical issues swiftly and effectively (Desirable)
• Understanding of lighting and sound systems used in school productions (Desirable)


Skills and Abilities

• Good understanding of data protection.
• Understanding of safeguarding requirements
• Able to work with minimum supervision.
• Experience of managing data protection including subject access requests. (Desirable)
• Experience in dealing with safeguarding including ensuring that the website meets safeguarding requirements. (Desirable)
• Able to work with minimum supervision, using own initiative and being proactive. (Desirable)
• Proficient in setting up microphones and audio setups. (Desirable)
• Proficient in programming and running lighting setups (Desirable)

What the school offers its staff

We are a large four-form entry junior school. We are a member of the Prosper Together MAT and work together to promote school improvement and provide a range of extended services for pupils. Together we employ several staff and commission other services to provide additional opportunities for our pupils and further CPD for staff. Each school maintains its individual identity and control.

All our children learn to play guitar as part of our wider offer and we benefit from onsite swimming lessons. We are a Solihull hub school for Arts Connect West Midlands helping to promote arts across the local authority
