What skills and experience we're looking for
The Governors and Head Teacher of Holy Rood Catholic Primary School are seeking to appoint an outstanding class teacher who can join our dedicated and enthusiastic team of fabulous children and superb staff in a school graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted (May 2022). This maternity cover role has the possibility to be in KS1 or KS2, depending on the strengths of the successful candidate.
The successful candidate will:
• Have high expectations of all pupils’ achievements and behaviour, and a commitment to raising standards
• Have the drive and motivation to create inspiring learning environments
• Have an excellent subject knowledge and clear understanding of the expectations of the curriculum
• Be enthusiastic and passionate about delivering quality first teaching strategies that are inclusive and engage all learners
• Possess excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to working as part of a team
• Be organised and well-planned, able to show initiative and reflect on their own practice
• Have evidence of successful subject leadership or a passion for a subject specialism
• Be motivated, with a good sense of humour and an eagerness to learn and develop professionally
