Assembly Operative
Location: South Birmingham
Pay: £12.21 per hour
Shifts: Monday to Friday - 6:00am-2:00pm / 2:00pm-10:00pm
About the Role:The Best Connection are currently recruiting for reliable and hardworking Assembly Operatives to join our busy team in South Birmingham.
In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for assembling blinds, using power tools, and preparing products for dispatch. You'll play a vital part in making sure our high-quality products are ready to ship to customers across the country.
Key Responsibilities:- Assembling blinds to specification
- Cutting materials accurately and safely
- Using hand tools and power tools in a safe and efficient manner
- Picking and packing orders
- Loading and unloading blinds ready for dispatch
- Maintaining a clean and organised workspace
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Previous experience in a hands-on or manufacturing role is preferred
- Comfortable using power tools and handling materials
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and meet production targets
- Physically fit and able to handle manual work
- A team player with a positive attitude
- Competitive hourly rate of £12.21 per hour
- Full-time, stable work Monday to Friday
- Rotating shifts: 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm
- Training and support provided
- Friendly team environment
