Summary

Intervention Worker - Violence Prevention Project

Nottingham | ⏰ Full-time, 37 hours per week | £16 - 18 per hour

About the Role

We're looking for a passionate and committed Intervention Worker to join the Your Choice Project, a programme designed to challenge and support people who use abuse in intimate or ex-intimate relationships.


What You'll Do

As an Intervention Worker, you will:

  • Carry out assessments with potential clients to ensure suitability for the programme.
  • Deliver tailored group and 1-1 interventions for both men and women, supporting them to build healthier and more equal relationships.
  • Work collaboratively with survivor support services, partner agencies, and professionals to ensure safety and effective case management.
  • Attend risk management, case management and multi-agency meetings, ensuring safeguarding is central to all practice.
  • Record and monitor your work accurately, contribute to quality assurance, and support ongoing programme development.
  • Help promote the Your Choice Project through presentations, workshops and community engagement.

About You

We're seeking someone who is:

  • Skilled in working with individuals in challenging circumstances, with a strong understanding of domestic abuse and its impact on survivors and families.
  • Confident in group facilitation and one-to-one work, with the ability to engage respectfully and constructively.
  • Committed to safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion.
  • A strong communicator and team player who values collaboration and continuous learning.
  • Organised, resilient, and able to maintain high standards of professional record-keeping and case management.
