We are currently recruiting on behalf of a respected Further Education college seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Motor Vehicle Lecturer to join their Automotive department.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified lecturer or an industry professional looking to move into education and make a real impact on the next generation of vehicle technicians.
- Deliver engaging and hands-on lessons to students across Level 1-3 Motor Vehicle
- Prepare and assess student work, providing constructive feedback and support
- Use your industry expertise to ensure lessons are up-to-date with modern workshop practices, including hybrid/electric vehicle technologies
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and achievement
- Support learners with both practical and theory-based modules
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Motor Vehicle Maintenance or a related field
- Previous teaching experience in FE is desirable, but not essential
- A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, CertEd, or willingness to work towards one)
- Strong workshop background and knowledge of current automotive technologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have an enhanced DBS
