Your new company
Your new company are a leader in their field based in Stoke-on-Trent and are looking for a Financial Controller to join their team on a permanent basis.
Your new role
- Produce and review monthly management accounts for Board-level reporting, ensuring accuracy and strategic insight.
- Board Pack commentary, improving clarity and focus on key financial metrics.
- Complete month-end reconciliations, ensuring compliance and financial integrity.
- Support the integration of multiple finance teams into a centralised UK location, streamlining operations and enhancing collaboration.
- Lead the transition of the ledger function from an overseas office to the UK, driving process improvements to increase accuracy and efficiency.
- Deliver daily group cash flow forecasts, enabling proactive cash management across multiple entities.
- Lead on system upgrades and implementations, including finance system enhancements to improve reporting, automation, and scalability.
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Accountant ACCA/CIMA/ACA
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Good systems knowledge and excellent working use of Excel
- Process improvement skillset
- Good team leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills
What you'll get in return
- £60,000-£70,000 DOE
- Based in Stoke on Trent - on-site parking
- 20 days holiday + bank holidays
- 8.30am-5pm Monday to Friday (can be flexible)
