Summary

The thing that makes your position so important in Equator is that you play a key role in the development and implementation of performance media strategies for our clients. With support from the Performance Media Team Leader, you’ll be hands-on in the day-to-day management of campaigns, making sure that they hit or exceed client targets and expectations. You are familiar with all things performance media and understand display, affiliate marketing, and social media.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Working on several clients across the core performance media channels including display, affiliate marketing, and social media.
  • Knowing the ins and outs of relevant platforms and social channels including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, and Pinterest. Understand their strengths and weaknesses when it comes to addressing specific client briefs and make use of their various targeting, optimisation and analytics tools to get the best results for our clients.
  • Assisting in the development of performance media strategies that encompass activities including content creation, targeting, testing, set-up and measurement and reporting.
  • Preparing and delivering campaign forecasts across metrics such as impressions, CTR, clicks and conversions.
  • Digging into the data to analyse what’s working well and what isn’t to power campaign optimisations to hit KPIs.
  • Collating performance data into comprehensive and engaging reports to present at internal and client meetings.
  • Integrating performance media campaigns into the wider marketing teams, sharing learnings and insights across the team, and seeing the bigger picture.
  • Carrying out competitor research to ensure we stay ahead of the competition when it comes to display, affiliates, email marketing and social media.
  • Assisting with proposals and pitches when required.
  • Staying up to date with new innovations in performance media, proposing them to clients when appropriate.
  • Understanding and being mindful of the commercials behind all performance media jobs – budgets, available hours, time entry, ETCs and profitability.
  • You’ll develop your knowledge and experience of performance media from in-house training, on the job learning, individual research and support from the Performance Media team leader. There will be the opportunity to learn about other marketing channels and external training opportunities may also be available.
