Summary
Are you an experienced and compassionate Mental Health Support Worker looking for your next opportunity? Social Care & Education are recruiting for our supported living service in Nottingham, supporting adults with complex mental health needs.
About the Role
You will play a vital role in delivering person-centred support to adults with a range of mental health conditions. This includes assisting with day-to-day living, encouraging independence, and ensuring safety and wellbeing at all times.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality, personalised care and support.
• Assist with daily living tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, and household duties.
• Support service users to access the community, attend appointments, and engage in meaningful activities.
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation, including updating care plans and taking daily notes.
• Adapt support to meet changing needs and circumstances.
• Administer medication safely and accurately.
Essential Requirements
• Minimum 3 months’ experience in a similar mental health or supported living role.
• Experience supporting individuals who may have challenging behaviour.
• Awareness of ligature risks and experience supporting individuals who self-harm (desirable).
• Experience with medication administration
• Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings, weekends, and night shifts.
