Due to growth, our client is looking to add a colleague to the warehouse team at an established independent Builders Merchant. They are currently looking for experienced Forklift Drivers to assist in the day-to-day operations of a busy yard/warehouse environment.
Job Specification:
- Assisting with loading and unloading deliveries using a forklift truck, picking orders,and moving stock around the site.
- Picking orders accurately and in a timely manner.
- Checking loaded goods against delivery notes.
- Assisting Trade Counter customers as required.
- Keeping work areas clean and tidy.
- Some manual handling is required.
- Adhering to Health and Safety regulations at all times.
- Shift pattern is 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday; Alternate Saturdays, 7am to 1pm.
Person Specification:
- Builders Merchant experience essential, however training will also be given.
- Be self-motivated and be able to work as part of a team.
- Have the ability to work quickly and efficiently with strong attention to detail.
- Be able to follow health and safety regulations. Good communication and customer service skills.
