In this role, you’ll promote independence, respond to changing needs, and build a sense of community to reduce social isolation.
You’ll also ensure the safety, security, and compliance of the scheme.

If you’re passionate about making a positive impact and helping tenants live independently in their homes for as long as possible,

* Respond to resident, contractor, and agency enquiries on site
* Manage low-level disputes and liaise with the Neighbourhood Team
* Organise and attend regular tenant engagement sessions
* Assist in lettings through risk and needs assessments to ensure appropriate allocations
* Ensuring the safety of the schemes including carrying out routine Health and Safety inspections and weekly fire alarm tests.
* Conduct joint property viewings and promote sheltered housing benefits
* Support new residents with induction, safety checks, and property guidance
* Ensure residents can use communal facilities effectively
* Deliver case management, including wellbeing checks and annual reviews
* Respond to emergency calls while on duty
* Support tenants to sustain tenancies, understand rights, and access services
* Advise on low-level rent arrears and liaise with the Income team
* Explain digital services for rent and repair reporting
* Triage domestic abuse incidents per company standards
* Assist with welfare benefit applications and provide guidance

What We’re Looking For:

* Have a passion for working to improve the lives of older people
* Track record of completing assessments and developing support plans with targets and outcomes for clients
* Experience of crisis management, risk minimisation and making decisions in difficult situations.
* Demonstrable experience of working within a sheltered housing environment, housing and or social care sector, with older and
vulnerable people.
* Experience of working with statutory agencies and the voluntary sector
* The skills to manage relationships with tenants including challenging non-compliance
* CIH level 3 or willingness to work towards.
* Full, clean UK driving licence

Interview Process:

* Candidates will undergo in-person interviews, consisting of competency-based questions. Interviews will take place w/c 13th
October.
