Summary
Head of TechnologyFull-Time, PermanentSalary: M1 - UPS3 plus TLR2c, £41,133 - £59,265Starting Date - January 2026 We are seeking to appoint a Head of Technology to join our academy from 1st January 2026. Your role will include leading a department that offers a wide range of subjects including;GCSE Food Preparation and Nutrition, Design and Technology and Art, Craft and Design at Key Stage 4.Art and Design (3D Design) and Food Science and Nutrition at Key Stage 5Design and Technology and Food Technology at Key Stage 3. We are seeking to appoint an excellent department leader who would be confident to lead colleagues in these subjects. The successful candidate will be able to teach outstanding lessons across the age and ability range preferably with a specialism in Design and Technology. The Ripley Academy is an 11-18 school located in Derbyshire close to Nottingham, Derby and Sheffield and within easy reach of the Peak District. We are a member of the East Midlands Education Trust and work in close partnership with the other academies within the Trust including The West Bridgford School and John Flamsteed Community School.
