Cornwall Staff Agency are recruiting an experienced Housekeeping Manager for a small, luxury hotel with spectacular sea views to oversee the day-to-day smooth-running housekeeping, public areas and laundry operations.
As Housekeeping Manager, you will manage all aspects of the housekeeping department. Compiling cleaning schedules, department Rota’s, checking cleans, staff training and maintaining extremely high standards.
You will be responsible for the cleanliness in all bedrooms and public areas providing a high standard of cleaning to a time frame, maximising opportunities and improving performance.
Key Responsibilities will include…
• Ensuring standards are met and exceeded
• Safety of customers and staff
• Have a hands-on approach
• Adhere to all health and safety, hygiene
• Maintain all Public and staff areas
• Achievement budgets & goals
• Liaising with all other departments
• Recruit, train & develop new staff
• Monitor stocks and ordering
• Create weekly rotas
Qualities you will need to display:
• Previous experience managing housekeeping team
• Luxury hotel experience
• A can-do attitude
• Be a hands-on team player, this is a physically active role where you will be working alongside your team on all aspects of the role
• Communicate well
• Be highly organised
