The Role – Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant:
As a Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant, you will:
• Work with pupils aged 11–16 across STEM subjects, including Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Computing
• Deliver tailored 1:1 and small-group support to raise attainment and boost confidence
• Assist teachers in adapting lessons to support learners of all abilities
• Provide classroom-based support while also working with pupils outside of lessons on interventions
• Act as a role model for students with aspirations to succeed in STEM pathways
This Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant role is particularly suited to STEM graduates who are considering careers in teaching, tutoring, education, or academic mentoring.

Ideal Candidate – Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant:
• 2:1 degree or higher in a STEM subject (Maths, Science, Engineering, Computing, etc.)
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to inspire and motivate secondary school pupils in STEM learning
• Some experience in tutoring, mentoring, or youth work is advantageous but not essential
• Must have the right to work in the UK (unfortunately, no visa sponsorship available)
