Summary
The successful candidate will lead a team of Resident doctors and multidisciplinary staff in delivering high-quality care to inpatients, outpatients, and emergency admissions. You will work collaboratively within a dynamic multidisciplinary team, playing a key role in achieving both national and local clinical and quality targets, in partnership with commissioners and clinical colleagues. Additional On-Call Commitment optional The post can include participation in a 1:16 on-call rota, which comprises: Evening post-take ward roundson theunselected medical take Weekend on-call dutiesas bothfirst and second on-call, covering the unselected take and medical inpatients Currently structured asone long day and one short day per weekend Overnight telephone advice, withreturn to site if clinically required Participation in the on-call rota isremunerated with additional Programmed Activities (PAs) per week. Eligibility Criteria Applicants should hold aCertificate of Completion of Training (CCT)inGeneral Internal Medicine or Geriatric Medicine, or be withinsix months of achieving thisat the time of application.
