Are you a commercially astute, qualified finance professional looking for a strategic role that goes beyond the numbers?We are seeking a seasoned Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping the financial direction of our diverse portfolio of businesses - spanning property, heritage, hospitality, and investment. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you’ll help guide strategic business planning, investment decisions, and performance evaluation across the Devonshire Group.This is a unique opportunity for an experienced accountant to influence high-level decision-making and work closely with senior leaders, including the Trustees, Family, and Senior Executive Team (SET).What You’ll Be DoingIn this high-impact role, you will:Provide direct financial insight and analysis to the CFO, Trustees, Family, and SET.Lead the development of strategic business plans, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring commercial integrity and profitability.Evaluate and present business cases for strategic projects and investment opportunities - pre- and post-implementation.Partner with senior leaders to identify and evaluate new strategies for growth, risk management, and operational efficiency.Drive financial performance analysis, identifying risks, opportunities, and actions to keep the Devonshire Group on plan.Oversee the production of monthly management accounts - including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow - ensuring accuracy and compliance with Group policies.Collaborate with the Group Financial Controller to guide and develop the wider finance team.Lead improvements in finance and business systems, helping to modernise and optimise reporting and planning tools.This is fixed-term role for a period of 12-months, working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The role will be based at the Chatsworth Estate Office, Derbyshire, hybrid working will be available with a minimum of 3-4 days from the Estate Office.What You’ll BringWe’re looking for a strategic thinker with strong financial acumen, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mind-set.
