SnodlandWe Care
That’s why we need people like you. People who appreciate their role in helping others to be successful.
We know that well-planned repair and maintenance work keeps everything running smoothly — for our teams, our customers and the communities we serve. As an R&M Planner, you’ll be right at the heart of this process, making sure every job is set up for success. This is a great opportunity to bring your organisational skills into a role where your input will have a real impact from day one.
The Role:
Successful delivery of repair and maintenance (R&M) work relies on effective planning, and this is your opportunity to play a key part in that process. From the very beginning, you’ll be mapping out what needs to be achieved, ensuring our teams have the information and support they need to deliver safely, efficiently and on time.
You’ll work closely with colleagues and customers, making sure requirements and expectations are clearly understood. These will then be translated into accurate, concise work instructions for our operational teams.
Here are some of the activities you will be involved in…
- Planning and scheduling activities for operational teams using a variety of systems.
- Monitoring work from start to finish, ensuring progress is accurately recorded and communicated.
- Acting as the first point of contact for operations colleagues, providing solutions to any issues.
- Processing, raising and closing traffic management requests, including footway and road closures, as well as notices and permits.
We would love to hear from you if…
You can demonstrate relevant experience in a fast-paced environment, where you’ve needed to assess situations quickly and make effective decisions. Strong organisational and communication skills are key, along with the ability to build positive working relationships with a wide range of people.
Confidence with IT systems is essential, as is a customer-focused approach to your work.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join us on a fixed-term contract (12 months), using your skills to make a real contribution to the delivery of repair and maintenance projects.
