Key Relationships:

Primary Purpose:
OI are looking for an ambitious technical analyst with a minimum of 2 years commercial experience supporting ERP solutions.

Working closely with the Enterprise Applications support team and key user base, reporting directly to the Technical Manager. You will be responsible for supporting existing and testing new ERP customisations and integrations.

You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our ERP system and assist with new site implementations. Managing and prioritising your workload based on severity and impact to the business.


Key Responsibilities

- 1st and 2nd line support of ERP system (SyteLine), Doc-Trak, Shop-Trak and associated applications
- Train users on our best practices to drive consistency in processes
- Liaise with 3rd parties as needed whilst maintaining ownership of incidents
- Assist in new site setups and related projects
- Interrogate data using SQL
- Aid with the identification of opportunities to improve business processes
- Support wider Enterprise Applications team with troubleshooting
- Setup new users and manage ERP security
- Maintain up to date technical documentation
- Assist with testing new functionality before release



Person Specification – Essential requirements unless stated

Education / Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant subject
- 2+ years experience in enterprise level ERP support
Professional Skills/ Abilities:

· Minimum of 2 years’ experience supporting ERP applications
· Good technical understanding of SQL
· Ability and desire to learn new technologies and processes
· Familiar with technical and business requirement gathering/analysis
· Support the creation and maintenance of system documentation
· Coordinate with other departments to develop new processes to resolve systematic short falls and support new systems
· Perform other such duties in line with level of post
· Experience of using Infor products and/or SyteLine (very desirable)
· Knowledge of manufacturing or engineering industry (desirable)
· Exposure to a PLM application (desirable)

Oxford Instruments is seeking an ERP Application Support Analyst to join our Enterprise Applications team. You’ll play a key role in supporting and enhancing our ERP systems, ensuring smooth operations across multiple sites, and contributing to exciting new implementations.

This role is a hybrid role with the main location being High Wycombe or Bristol. We work 8.00 until 4.30 Monday to Thursday and finish at 1.00 on a Friday so you can start your weekend early. We typically work three days per week in the office so it is important that you are able to get to our High Wycombe or Bristol location.
