Summary
Maintenance Technician - TXM Recruit are currently looking for a Maintenance Technician to work for a rapidly expanding retail maintenance team on a 12-week temp to perm scheme.
- Location – Greater Belfast Area
- Salary – £35,000 per year (Room to increase once taken permanently)
- Hours – 8am to 5pm - Monday to Friday only
- Overtime - Overtime is there at 1.5x
As a Maintenance Technician your duties will be but not limited to
- General reactive maintenance in store from toilets, shop floor and communal areas.
- This may include changing lightbulbs, replacing taps or toilet seats hanging doors or fixing shelves. Patch plaster. rendering, painting or minor carpentry and plumbing repairs.
- PPMs such as Legionella, Fire Alarm Testing, Sprinkler Testing (training provided).
- Building inspections including roof walks and building checks.
- Electrical bias repairs to building maintenance system, lighting and power upgrades, electrical conduits and circuit boards, distribution work, 3 phase equipment etc. (not all of this is required)
There will be daily duties to ensure the tablet is updated, this may be reporting issues, H&S notes or sending emails. Technology will be used in the form of a PDA Tablet and Company provided Smartphone.
