What you will be doing, as a CNC Miller
- Running a twin pallet CNC Milling machining centre with Heidenhain control
- Online programming at the machine, following and editing programs when needed, and programming from scratch is desirable
- Setting, proving out, and machining complex parts to tight tolerances
- Reading and questioning drawings, then choosing sensible tooling
- In process checks with the usual gauges, recording what matters and cracking on
- Working with production and quality, communicating early so jobs stay on track
What you will need as a CNC Miller
- Heidenhain control experience that you can talk through confidently
- Around 10 years in precision engineering, or the equivalent depth of skill
- Strong drawing interpretation, sound machining principles, and tidy habits
- A calm approach to troubleshooting and a focus on making good parts consistently

- Days or lates available, you choose what fits your life
- Salary at £36,000 to £42,000 depending on experience
- 5 percent pension, paid overtime, 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays
