Summary

Production Operative – Ink & Chemical Manufacturing | Rochdale | £12.21/hr

Are you an experienced Production Operative looking for a hands-on role in chemical manufacturing or ink production? Join a busy manufacturing team in Rochdale, producing high-quality ink and chemical products, carrying out quality control, and supporting warehouse and production operations.

Hours: Mon–Thurs 7:00–15:30 | Fri 7:00–13:30
Contract: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

- Produce multiple ink and chemical batches each day to meet production targets
- Perform basic quality control (QC) tests – % solids, grind, solvent checks
- Assist with loading/unloading deliveries and warehouse order picking
- Maintain clean, safe production areas following Health & Safety procedures
- Support colleagues and senior staff on ad hoc production projects

Skills & Experience

- Experience in ink production, chemical mixing, or manufacturing preferred
- Previous production operative or manufacturing experience essential
- Strong attention to detail, quality-focused, and able to multitask
- Knowledge of health & safety regulations in a manufacturing environment
