Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 4 Teacher to join a welcoming Key Stage 2 team on a maternity cover contract beginning November 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and motivate pupils, delivering high-quality teaching and supporting their academic and personal development.
Duties as Year 4 Teacher:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Year 4 national curriculum.
Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners.
Assess and track pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and setting achievable targets.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parents to ensure the best outcomes for every child.
Contribute to wider school life, including extracurricular activities and school events.
Ideal Year 4 Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and assessment requirements.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills as a Year 4 Teacher.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Enthusiasm, creativity and a passion for teaching.
