Summary
'We care We communicate We collaborate We contribute' Main duties and responsibilities Clinical Strictly work within the NMC Code of Conduct and maintain clinical practice for revalidation. Self-manage all work areas and workload, seeking managerial support as required. Maintain own time schedule and ensure that all timelines are adhered to. Identify personal training requirements and initiate appropriate training. Research Implement, develop, and facilitate the running of trials as part of the research team within Milton Keynes University Hospital. Including: Support the team to review protocols to identify suitability and resource implications. Administration Use the NIHR CRN and NHS Trust computer systems/network and the internet. Ensure that all data is handled according to the Data Protection Act and in a confidential, and where necessary anonymised, fashion. Education and Training Provide and receive complex information, analysing facts and interpretating outcomes. Cascading information to colleagues, patients and public in an appropriate manner. Represent the Trust and the Research Department in meetings, conferences, symposia, and social media events as required. Management and Leadership Provide leadership and management for research nurses, midwives and associated staff. Have a specialist knowledge across a range of subjects, ideally research being one of the areas. Please refer to Job Description for further details
