Within law we offer CILEX professional qualifications and legal apprenticeships. Our legal provision offers a wide range of progression opportunities, from
paralegal/legal secretary through to Qualified Chartered Legal Executive/CILEX lawyer.
In addition to this, we also currently offer L7 Litigator and Advocate Apprenticeship. This
caters for people new to the profession, fast tracking law graduates or people with well
established careers looking to upskill. Our delivery is a combination of remote and face to face delivery from one of our ETC sites, Bede Sixth Form College, Billingham.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lecturer of Law to join our Innersummit, Professional Services Team reporting to our Strategic Lead. There is the potential that this post could be full time for an exceptional industry specialist looking to move into teaching and gain a teaching qualification while they work. We have a well-established team within the legal department with a range of specialisms within the field of law. We are looking for an enthusiastic member of staff who is passionate about developing and upskilling personnel within the legal sector. The ideal candidate would have a specialism in family, tort, contract or business and employment law. There is the necessity for the successful candidate to deliver over a minimum of two evenings a week.

As a Lecturer of Law with Innersummit you will be responsible for the design and implementation of our legal qualifications and provide support of our trainees while on programme. You will also be aware of the ever changing legal landscape and would be expected to keep up to date with changes in the law and reflect those changes within their delivery.

Successful candidates should hold a qualifying law degree or higher legal qualification, practical experience is desirable. A teaching qualification is also desirable, however the college can support in obtaining this.
