Summary
We are currently looking to recruit a Spares Assistant to work for a local company based in Kettering.
Hours of work 7.30 – 16.15 Monday to Thursday and 7.30 – 12.00 Friday.
Job role involves -
Receive enquiries from customers, raise sales order in the Erp system, to put order into production or pick from the Kardex stock system.
Prepare quotes of spare parts for customers.
Working with suppliers to obtain quotes for purchased parts, and then raise the Purchase order and send out.
Booking goods in and out.
Packaging orders to send out to customers.
Allocating parts correctly to the press build projects, the location and process will be fully shown.
Supporting Mechanical fitters as required.
Using the Erp system, allocating material to orders, and updating parts table as required.
Any other duties that maybe required with the role, and to assist the team.
Forklift licence desirable, but open to getting licence ideal, daily inspection duties of Forklifts.
Clean driving Licence preferable as there is times that you will need to pop out to local suppliers for collecting parts, (Pool car used for this).
Good Communication skills and ability to work in a team.
Good IT skills and able to work to targets.
This role will involve Manual Handling and lifting heavy boxes at times.
