Personal assistant / Care Support Worker – Direct Payment Role (Hartlepool)We’re looking for a kind, enthusiastic, and bubbly individual to join a small, friendly team providing 24-hour, 2:1 care for a young man with a brain injury living in his own independent bungalow in Seaton Carew, Hartlepool. All care needs are fully supported in this rewarding, person-centred role.Role Details:Part-time hours: minimum 12–24 hours per week (1–2 shifts weekly), with opportunities to pick up extra shifts for holiday and sickness coverShift patterns: Choose either permanent nights or a combination of day and night shifts – flexible depending on your preferenceDay shift timings: 7am - 5pm/7pm Night shift timings: 7pm - 7amPay rate: £13.00 per hourAlternate weekends off or two weekends off per month depending on the needs of the rotaYour responsibilities will include:Supporting the client with personal care needsHelping maintain a tidy and comfortable home and gardenPlanning and taking part in activities, days out, and local walksAccompanying the client to appointmentsWhat we’re looking for:Aged 18 or overFriendly, reliable, and caring – essential qualities for this roleNo formal experience required – full training (in role) will be providedExperience in care (formal or informal) is a bonus but not essentialFully flexible in terms of availability for shiftsA full UK driving licence is preferred but not essentialWe’d love to hear from you!Apply now directly through the site or by emailing your CV to: support@ukcil.com
