Summary
We have a fantastic opportunity for weekly paid hours for a hardworking experienced Care Assistant to work with Alzheimer’s and other age-related conditions.
You will be working in a lovely residential home in Nottingham where you will be helping assist residents as they go about their daily activities, keeping the residents entertained, whilst also helping them with their day to day lives, promoting their independence.
Duties will include: -
• Assisting with movement and handling equipment
• Personal Care
• Serving of meals
• Companionship and emotional support
• Promoting health and safety

To be considered for this rewarding role you must have the following: -
• You must have proven experience within a similar care environment
• Have a checkable work history
• Have up to date mandatory training documents, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Moving and Handling, and Infection Control. Should you not have up to date certificates we can offer online training, with an added fee
• Have an in date enhanced DBS check, if your DBS have expired, we can offer the facility to arrange a new one for you.
We are unable to offer support for VISA applicants
This is an ongoing opportunity and rewarding role.
You will be working typically Monday to Friday from 07.00 to 14.00
You will be paid an hourly rate of £12.35 per hour plus up to 28 accrued holiday pay.
