Are you looking for a new opportunity in the Gym and Leisure Industry?

We are seeking a go-getting Fitness and Lettings Manager who will be responsible for the operation and development of our Thinking Fitness gyms and lettings spaces at our sites at The Rochester Grammar School and Maritime Academy. You will oversee the delivery of excellent customer service, financial returns and enhancing the profile of Thinking Fitness in the wider community.

Our Fitness and Lettings Manager will;

• Have 5 areas of focus – Operational Management, Staff Management, Business Development, Stakeholder Management and Customer Engagement.
• Ensure public fitness and lettings facilities and bookings are operated safely, effectively and efficiently.
• Be responsible for providing an exercise class timetable that is popular amongst members.
• Manage and develop staff, including recruitment, training, rotas and managing annual leave.
• Seek and develop relationships with potential new Thinking Lettings groups and clubs, ensuring potential revenue streams are maximized.
• Develop community partnerships from a user and programme perspective, including sports clubs, charities and residents’ associations.
• Working with Trust staff, including Headteachers and department leads to ensure an appropriate balance between the schools’ usage requirements, and wider community use of facilities.

This role is for 37 hours per week, with a mix of core office hours, evenings and weekends.
