Randstad is partnering with a school to find a passionate and dedicated EYFS Assistant to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners.
Position description / Job description
- Planning and delivering engaging learning activities for children aged 0-5.
- Supporting children's mental development and understanding individual needs.
- Conducting one-on-one and group learning sessions.
- Collaborating with colleagues to create a positive learning environment.
- Contributing to the overall care and well-being of children.
- Maintaining a safe and stimulating classroom environment.
- Participating in team meetings and professional development activities.
- Assisting with administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements
We're looking for you, if:
- At least 6 months to 1 year of UK experience working with children aged 0-5 years.
- Experience in childcare and SEN is preferred.
- A commitment to nurturing and developing young children.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
- Relevant early years qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Childcare).
- Enhanced DBS on the Updated Service.
