"Pupils are proud of the diversity represented within their school. They animatedly described ‘the power of you’ days where they celebrate each other’s cultures and faiths. Pupils said that everyone is free to be themselves. This creates a sense of belonging which helps pupils to feel happy in school. Polite and respectful interactions between pupils and adults are the norm. Pupils embrace opportunities to make changes for the benefit of others. Pupils appreciate the care that staff have taken to ensure that the diversity of the school community is reflected in the school’s high-quality curriculum. The school has high expectations of pupils’ achievement. Most pupils achieve well. Staff are overwhelmingly proud to work at the school.'" Ofsted 2024
We are looking to appoint a Level 3 Teaching Assistant (Intervention) to support pupils within the SEND department to ensure that every child succeeds.
Promoting self-esteem, encouraging pupils to act independently and supporting academic and personal development are all vital to this role. Successful candidates will need to have high expectations of all pupils’ attainment and behaviour, be enthusiastic about students’ learning, determined to get the best out of each student and be willing to immerse themselves in all aspects of school life.
If you have a passion for Interventions, possess a TA3 qualification, have excellent organisational and communication skills (written and verbal) and enjoy working with young people, then this role is for you. A GCSE or equivalent qualification in English and Maths is essential for all TA posts.
Candidates must be available to work Monday to Friday, 8.15 am to 4.00 pm (36.25 hours per week).
To Apply:
The preferred method of application is completion of an online application form via TES https://www.tes.com/jobs/vacancy/ta3-literacy-intervention-trafford-2248205

Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and we expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. In line with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) 2025, an online search may be undertaken for short listed candidates as part of due diligence.
