Summary
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated individual to join our team as a part time, term time cleaner at Dovers Green Infant School. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment or students, staff and visitors in our COIN Unit.
This is a part time position working 5 hours per week (one hour per day Monday to Friday) across 38 weeks per annum (term time only). Exact hours are open to discussion. This is a fixed term position until 19 July 2026.
Rate of Pay: £12.42 per hour. Pro rata salary for 5 hours per week, across 38 weeks per annum is £2,715 (£23,322 FTE).
Key responsibilities include:
Clean COIN unit classrooms, hallways and other areas within the unitEmpty bins and dispose of waste
Sweep, mop and vacuum floors
Follow Health and Safety guidelines including COSHH regulations
We are looking for individuals who:
Have previous cleaning experience, preferably in a school of similar environment (desirable but not essential)
Have the ability to manage time effectively to complete tasks to a high level
Are able to work independently and as part of a team
A positive can-do attitude
